Located at the foot of the rugged Taita Hills, this game sanctuary offers a safe haven to a wide variety of animals. Large herds of elephant can be seen here in the dry season, but it is for the big cats that Taita is famous, including lion and leopard, especially when the migratory animals arrive.
Best time to go: Game viewing can be good all year but it is best during the dry season (July - March).
